Apple iCloud Removal Remotely

If you'd like to return any Apple products under our 12 month warranty or because you've changed your mind, you'll need to remove your iCloud account before sending it back.

If you’re unable to remove the iCloud directly from the device, then you’ll need to follow the instructions below:

To remove your iCloud account remotely from the device you wish to return using a PC or laptop, follow the instructions for your device:

iPhone 

1. Switch off your iPhone
2. Log into the iCloud website from a PC or laptop using your Apple ID credentials
3. Click Find My iPhone
4. Click on the All Devices drop-down menu and select [My device]
5. Click Remove Account
6. Click Remove on the confirmation message

iPad 

1. Switch off your iPad
2. Log into the iCloud website from a PC or laptop using your Apple ID credentials
3. Click Find My iPhone
4. Click on the All Devices drop-down menu and select [My device]
5. Click Remove Account
6. Click Remove on the confirmation message

Apple Watch 

1. Switch off your Apple Watch
2. Log into the iCloud website from a PC or laptop using your Apple ID credentials
3. Open Find My Watch
4. Click on the All Devices drop-down menu and select your Apple Watch
5. Click Erase Apple Watch

It's important to remember to remove your iCloud account before returning your device as we can't process returns that are still locked to an iCloud account.
